Were going water skiing but i'm super scared a fish is going to touch me?

the water iis so dark and all i can think about is a fish , touching me, my husband and girls are going to so mad at me for not skiing , but i'm so freaked out about fish, when you fall and have to wait for the boat to come around to get you , what can i do not to be such a freak,i want to ski but , the fall and wait scares me
