Will my misdemeanor charge be expunged automatic once I turn 18?

Will my misdemeanor be expunge once I turn 18 or do I have to do it myself. I live in NJ. I was charge with theft when I was 16 and now I am 21. Is my record sealed? I am getting a FBI background check for a job.
